Initiatives
The Batch of 2006 alumni community is committed to building a strong, enduring relationship with BITS Pilani Goa Campus and with one another. Our initiatives are designed to create meaningful impact—on campus, for students, and across our alumni network—through structured, transparent, and long-term efforts.
1. Scholarships & Financial Support
We work towards enabling access and opportunity for deserving students through need-based and merit-based scholarships. These initiatives aim to reduce financial barriers and ensure that talent and hard work are never constrained by circumstance.
2. Mentorship & Student Engagement
Our alumni mentor current students through career guidance, higher education advice, entrepreneurship support, and industry exposure. This initiative bridges classroom learning with real-world experience and strengthens the alumni–student bond.
3. Giving Back to Campus
As beneficiaries of a formative campus experience, we actively support projects that enhance academic, residential, and community infrastructure. Contributions may be financial or in kind, aligned with clearly defined outcomes and campus priorities.
4. Endowment & Long-Term Vision
The batch is working towards creating sustainable endowments that generate recurring impact year after year. These funds are envisioned to support scholarships, academic excellence, and strategic campus initiatives over the long term.
5. Community & Social Impact
Beyond the campus, we encourage initiatives that create positive social and environmental impact. Alumni-led efforts in education, sustainability, and community development reflect our shared values and responsibility to society.
6. Staying Connected as a Batch
All initiatives are rooted in the belief that a strong alumni community amplifies individual efforts. Through reunions, events, and this platform, we collaborate, share ideas, and collectively decide how best to contribute.
Our approach is simple: meaningful participation, collective ownership, and lasting impact. Every alumnus—regardless of location or capacity—has a role to play in shaping what we give back, together.
